Salam sisters, it's already been a month since I posted the last entry, hehehe. Ive got a lotta busy days, and was having a paramyxovirus attack earlier last month, I got 'mumps' (Google it for more info) heheee and yes, I got my cheek swollen down to the upper neck, it was torturing me for two weeks, but Alhamdulillah I'm now entirely recovered :)
It's so nice to be back, posting again, I miss this blog so much! hehee. Anyway, two weeks ago I visited my friend, she's older than me, she's a friend but we're so close like she's my spiritual sister, halah, hehe. I'll show you her face below, let's call her Teteh Aisyah :D
Very sunda face, rite? rite, she's from Tasikmalaya. Well, she's just had an engagement a week before and a 'bride-to-be'. When I visited her, she told me that she's going to marry soon, uhuhuhu \(^.^)/ I was so excited when I heard that! and I think she hasn't told anyone yet about the d-day, I dunno whether she wanna make a surprise or what so I'm not gonna say it here, but like I said 'soon' means 'very soon' ^.^ uhuhuhu!
But, there's a story, about the wedding dress fabric which her fiance's cousin choose for her, hehehe. It's a teal blue brocade fabrics and already on her hands rite now, and of course it purposed to be made as Kebaya dress, but she told me that she's kinda not-sure about it, cus kebaya is rather tight and ordinary, hehe. She actually wanted a soft sweet colour and a syar'i elegant design like the fascinating Irna La Perle collection, which most material are chiffon, sateen, or velvet I guess, hehe. But she definetely couldn't put the brocade away, bcause you know, just no way. So, after talking and more talking, we both ended in confusion, xixixi.
At home, I was laying on my bed that the idea came by, hehe, some brocade dresses design flashed in my brain. I took my scrapbook and pen then start drawing, hehe. I had tons of pictures in my head but I also consider her chubby face and her bodyshape (hahaha sorry teh if that comes too sensitive :p) so I made them as fit as possible. I would be really happy if she could wear something I made specially for her on her special day :) hihi. Well, here they are! :D

| 2) BITTERSWEET | My second drawing, I wonder that this one would be rather sweet because most of the material is chiffon which is pleated and the falling sateen ribbon would be sweeter ^.^ |
![]() |
| 3) RUFFLE ROLL | Most of the materials are chiffon, This one would be very eye-catching cus in real, I wonder the chiffon bollero would be very romantic looking when it's blown by the wind :D |
![]() |
| 4) BLOOMY BRIDE | My last drawing, I put several embroidery flowers on the head and the coat, nothing much to say, just because it's spring time! :D hehe |
'Teh Ais' that is what I call her, was very happy when I brought my scrapbook to her :D She adore the first and the second pics, but she couldn't decide yet, I know wedding, so many things to consider, hihi, I'm wondering when my turn is, hmmmmm, hehehe, I hope it would be much more wonderful :D halah, amin InshaAllah. I gave those sheets to let her consult to the boutique where she will make the dress, I rather excited how my design would come into real! :D hihi, "BARAKALLAH TEH AIS", I hope it would be a wonderful one, AMIN.
So, what do you gurls think? which one do you like best? hehe :D leave your thoughts below! :)
thanks for reading :*

that ruffle top I loved so much! hehehe, very simply done actually, and the wedgie is new, hehehe, like the Calcagni wedges I wanted, but not really the same, hhe...say anything...I'd be delightful having your critics :)
This entry is the continuance of the previous one. We're also gonna talk about my experiment trying Hana Tajima's Hijab Style, hee. Still the 'Farah Fawcett look alike' hijab style :p like th efirst one we did. But this time is a lil bit different, We're gonna do the second style, like she had on this pic..
Basically, this second style is the same as the first one but there are some step that we need to reduce, and for this second style, Hana Tajima was using pashmina, but Imma bit improvising, he, I'm gonna use my square hijab, in this case, my old paris hijab which is very popular in Indonesia.
So, let's start gurlies ;) :)
So, let's start gurlies ;) :)
| All what we need |
| You're DONE! |
More simple I think, rite? hee, yes it is, and this style could be your solution to reuse your old square hijab, because I know maybe some of you have already put them away due to to the 'middle-east' hijab trend which is lot more using pashmina or long scarves, am I rite?. Well, I say it because it happens to me, kekekeh, I don't know what to do with my old square hijab cus now I'm more often using the 'middle-east' hijab style. But seeing Hana Tajima with her newest hijab style, she really inspires me so I try her hijab style using my square hijab, turns out it's quite working isn't it? heee, you can also use any of your old square hijab, maybe your moms or grannys, hihi, just improvise with patterned fabrics or anything you like :) Alright, I think I'm done here, hope this information could be useful for you gurls, have a try and goodluck! :)

Salam all....ahh first entry on February. Well, I'd like to share about my latest experiment, hehe. Maybe some of my facebook friend already know about this. So, start with...humm....I'm really sure you gurls must have known who she is...a half-Japanese-half-English descent muslimah from London, with the very amazing styles, the creative director and designer of MAYSAA London, Hana Tajima-Simpson. Okay, I'm not gonna talk too much cus she's quite famous among hijabees worldwide. (astaghfirullah, my english is terrible, really apologize ladies). Okay, straight to the purpose I'm making this entry, you must be know about Hana Tajima's latest hijabs tyle, the 'Farah Fawcett look alike' hijab style if say it :D really something rite?

I know we all LOVE this style, really different, simple, but super chic! First time I saw her in this hijab style is from her blog, first entry when she visited Malaysia, and after seeing this hijab style, I was then shouted, wow, she really has a gift! eheheh, sorry if I'm too much, but she really amazed meeeee. We are all curious about how to do it! including me, after shouting (halah) I was then asking 'How to do that?' thereafter I'm waiting for her making the tutorial, but reading the Malaysian hijabee blogger, I dunno I think she is still in Malaysia, maybe she just haven't had the time to do it. So, when I was free and doing nothing, there the idea come by, I was then sitting in front of the mirror and having an experiment with a pashmina. I' was trying to do her hijab style, hehhee, unexpectedly, I think I did one similar like hers :D I dunno whether I did the correct step as she did or not, but more or less, it appears like hers....hehehe...So, here today, I'm gonna share it to you all...I already made the tutorial but I don't know if I did something wrong, don't be mad at me :D cus I'm just adapting it from her...here they go....
For the first Hana Tajma hijab style, we are using pashmina, all you need are pashmina, inner headband, and some pins.
and here is the step...
| 1. Put your headband on | 2. Put your pashmina on (make sure that one side is longer than the other side) and then grab two side of the fabric | 3. Pull them backward |
| 4. Lock them on the back of your neck with a pin (push through thr headband) | 5. Take the longer side | 6. Pull it below the short side and bring them backward |
| 7. Pin the longer side on the headband | 8. Pull the rest of the longer side forward | 9. Make it neat |
| 10. Pin it below the fold of the fabrics to make the pin invisible | 11. Put some pins on the left and right side of your head to make sure the pashmina wont run messy | 12. You're done! |

Hmmmm, mimpiii beneeeer, klo udah mimpi gini akunya gabisa lega kalo belum dapet, huhu. Tapi dimana coba di Indonesia mau ngedapetinnya?? hmmm sepertinya kali ini emang harus pre-order, supaya bisa custom platform sama wedges belakangnya, trus minta pake rubber sole buat bawahnya biar gak licin, hehe. Well, hoping so much bisa ngedapetin someday, mupeeeng banget! bener-bener sukaa dan sampe kemimpi-mimpi, ckck. Yasudah, mau nambah wishlist page dulu yah, hihi, ciao ;)
After everytime I dress up myself, after like everypost is talking about my outfit, now let's see what I did to my lil sister, Zahra ;) YES, I dress her up! she's a bit contrary to me. She loves PINK so much, and very gurly, she adore fairy tales, her favourite toy is Barbie, and her idol definetely Cinderella! hoiyh...she's turning six upcoming march, she wear hijab since she were a baby :) at first, the purpose my mum worn it to her besides to get her used to hijab is covering her neck to keep her warm, but without being forced, she always want to wear it, we never ask her, she don't want to put it off in public if not necessary, but of course she's just a kid--an over power hiperactive kid exactly, if we think she's already too sweaty, we will ask her to release the hair. Now take a look at this...taraa!
Okay, this afternoon, me, my mum, and my sister picked up my father and my younger brother at the airport, they're back from Jakarta, be here for spending holidays, my family member is now completed ;) yay! the above photo is my lil sister after having such a sweet meet up with my Dad, she keep holding his hand during our walk to the parking lot :D the hijabstyling done by me and successfully catch a lot of streetwalkers eyes to her ;) she tottaly love it and can stop smirking in front of the mirror! hehee...I just need my old pink scarf and a corsage ;p
The pink look completed when she rockn her cute pink bow clutch i bought for her :D she lost her old clutch--you know kids--whereas the old one's cuter and so rare, hiks, she put her tissue and parfume in, sometimes there's a candy or money which all were coins, hihihi, such funny to me ;)
My sister was very happy today b'cus me and my mum were having a little surprise for her, we bought a set of fairy stuffs like glittery wings and the magic pink wand two weeks ago, but we keep it until today and give it to my father before she met him, pretend like it was from my father :D she asked for it since last month but we're always pending it, and she's got a very very happy jump today because she miss her dad a lot and guess what? Daddy brought what she really want! aaaaww so lovely ;)
So, this is my lil' sister style, and I can say most of her clothes are Pink, most of her style are in pink :) hheee, probably i'll show you later. Well that's all for today, thanks for reading! byebye there :*

Ngomong-ngomong, saya dapet maxi dress baru, kali ini bahannya spandex dan di Indonesia terkenal dengan warna tosca (so far i browse the web i found it's actually teal green) then yang ini also lebih bodysuit.

Sebenernya style ini terinspirasi dari sepasang lovely bestie yang juga udah terkenal di kalangan worldwide hijabi terutama Southeast Asia, they're: Yuna Zarai (singer from Malaysia) dan Hana Tajima-Simpson (designer for MAYSAA london).

Please kindly do not compare the above picture with Hana&Yuna's photos :D cus we have all known that Yuna is an artist and Hana is an Int'l designer, sedangkan saya sejauh ini hanya orang biasa, heheee.
They are very stunning, I adore them <3. FYI, Hana Tajima sekarang sedang ada di Malaysia untuk launching MAYSAA di Kuala Lumpur, yang juga akan diadakan live performance dari sohibnya Yuna Zarai, aaawww jadi pengen kesana, sayangnya sekarang saya udah pindah Jogja (pas di Batam sih cepet ke KL, heheh) but that's okay, hopefully MAYSAA will be somewhere in Indonesia later. Will always keep up with the event's update :D 'Like' the Maysaa Facebook FanPage. Okayh, thats'all, thanks again for reading, toodle!
Assalamu'alaikum Wr Wb, yahaa tetep posting meskipun lagi ngungsi. Nah, mumpung sekarang lagi rehat, aku posting deh, hehe.
Ceritanya, lagi bersih-bersih kamar kerjanya eyang, liat banyak buku-buku semasa beliau masih jadi dosen, dan album-album foto beliau dulu pas tinggal di luar negeri--maklum dosen kondang, heheh. Aku menelusuri rak, and guess what...heheh...sedikit menghibur kebetean saya--I found something cool...a PATTERN BOOK! hehehe. Wawawa aku suka ini! hehehe jadi gak bete lagi karena bisa sedikit cuci mata...
So, in facts, I found few, not only one, hehe, they're soooo vintage, both cover and contents, cos they're from 70's era :D I know that my granny bought them from Aussie, cos they're International label--and no bahasa at all, hehehe...
